IF I HAD WINGS
If I had wings, I would fly
I would soar high
And touch the sky
I would know not how to run
I would fly and have fun
And reach the sun
If I had wings, I would fly
I would know not how to look at people in the eye
Looking from above I could try
My eye I would cast
To get rid of the past
And in the sky I would have a blast
If I had wings, I would fly
With relief I would sigh
As I watch, the passers-by.
